Aranui Library has traditional library materials, focused Ng? Pounamu M?ori and Pasifika collections, spaces for the community to just be and technologies to engage and inspire Aranui.Aranui is a culturally rich community with one of the highest proportions of people identifying as M?ori or Pasifika in Christchurch. Many of the locals have a strong sense of belonging in and to Aranui and Te Kete W?nanga o Aranui is privileged to contribute to that sense of place. We are seeking for two people to join the team that make the library work for the community. To thrive in this function you will need to love working with people and want to work in Aranui. Can you grow your expertise and use them to make things like 3D printing, virtual reality and other, future technologies accessible to everyone? Additional information Hours of work – two vacancies available: » Position one – 23.5 hours: Monday 8.30-4.30, Tuesday 10-5, Wednesday 1-6 and Sunday 10-4 » Position two – 23 hours: Monday 1-6, Thursday 10-5, Friday 11-6 and Sunday 10-4 income – $23.19 to $25.09 per hour Location – This position is primarily located at Aranui Library Whilst staff working at the Christchurch City Council are not currently required to be vaccinated, candidates need to be aware that should the COVID-19 environment change, functions across the organisation will be assessed, and the requirement to be vaccinated may be reviewed.
