About our group and team
SE&S – Sector Enablement and Support
Our teams around the country work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, skills and resources to help tamariki and rangitahi reach their full potential.
About this function
The Lead Adviser Network leads advice on the long-term and medium-term structure and design of the schooling network. You will work with analysts using Statistics New Zealand data and local knowledge gained through your relationships with local authorities, Boards of Trustees, and other government agencies to develop demographic projections and schooling area strategies. You’ll be working in the team that is responsible for the overall planning and design of future schooling provision and type to ensure the right provision is in the right place at the right time.
