Success through unity – great people, great support, a great tomorrow Te ?hua o Te T?runga – The nature of the position The strategic intent of the position of Mana Whakahaere – CEO, is to lead and supervise the work of the organisation, taking charge for the efficiency of business operations as well as setting future strategic goals. The overarching objective of the function will be to ensure the financial vicapability of the organisations activities and to drive sustainable development and long-term success. Ensuring the financial vicapability of the organisation, you will be designing and implementing business plans and strategies, by collating, analysing, and interpreting data to support reports and ultimately your decisions. Organising and coordinating operations in ways that ensure maximum efficiency, you will set about developing goals and objectives appropriate to enable growth and prosperity against plan. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will lead, and figure head the organisation with passion, charisma and mana. Accountable for the development of both short and long-term plans, you will be delivering papers which will include research, discussion and interpretation of fiscal data. Assuring service models are properly covering needs, you will have a strong focus on building and maintaining effective and prosperous relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, sharing your vision, and delivering a roadmap of the journey ahead. Ensuring the Board is kept updated, you will take your people on a journey with you, as you lead and develop a culture of high performance, where people are engaged, enabled, and enthused to do their best, every day. Networking with other organisations to strengthen TRT's position, you will be providing leadership abilities for the sector through leading from the front and positioning TRT as the exemplar of service and delivery in the sector. Focused on the delivery of high quality mokopuna services, will see you consistently reviewing, auditing and augmenting process, to ensure the very best model is employed. Ng? tino P?kenga/Wheako – Essential expertise/practices for the function. A Mental health, social work degree (or other similar) qualification is highly desirable to application; however this may be offset by considerable, significant practice. expertise, knowledge, and practice required for application include: » practice working within and implementing operational aspects of Te Ao M?ori and an knowledge of Te reo me ?na tikanga M?ori. » Information technology is preferable to have practice in the NZ Health and Discapability sector. » Knowledge about current models of care, research, and practice within the discapability sector internationally. » broad practice managing commercial interests of an organisation. » broad financial competency, expertise in organisational financial management, budget, asset, and cash management. » Sound knowledge of commercial law, and knowledge of significant legislation pertaining to the NZ Discapability sector. » practice in the development and maintenance key funding relationships. » Excellent report writing expertise, able to analyse complex information such as legislation and policy. » Have worked with and established strategic level relationships with iwi and hap?. » Skilled in shaping and influencing work force change, process improvement and development. » broad people management, mentorship, performance appraisals and strong knowledge of NZ HR practices. » The capability to providespecialist advice and guidance and proven capcapability to empower and enhance the mana of others. » Excellent interpersonal and relationship building expertise, with the capability to influence and enable change. » The proven capcapability to bring people together, reinforced with the expertise to influence, persuade, and inspire.
