Junior Developer - API Team
The API team at MSD is responsible for building and maintain APIs to be consumed by external partners and internal applications.
MSD has an ambitious digital channel roadmap that includes providing APIs for new mobile applications, partners and supporting a shift to micro-services.
MSD has adopted scaled agile (SAFe) across the organisation.
About the opportunity
The function will help create and document MSDs APIs. Information technology will build a good knowledge of the underlying backend applications and the business functions being exposed as part of the API, working in a multifunctional scrum team.
Responsibilitieswithin the function
   » Work with business analysts and testers to document requirements and design for API features including acceptance criteria.
   » Document non-functional requirements, error conditions and sequence diagrams related to each APIs.
   » Support and contribute to develop API (and portal) code and facilitate with release processes. Including automated releases, versioning and security mechanisms.
expertise and practice you will bring with you
   » practice in any programming language - HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Java, PHP, C# etc.
   » Sound knowledge of XML, XSDs, JSON/YAML, RESTful API, SOAP, Swagger, HTTP Protocols.
   » Has the capability to contribute document of non-functional requirements for each APIs.
   » availability to adapt and lgain quickly on the new technology and processes.
   » Can easily build relationship with stakeholders.
   » Has excellent written and verbal communication expertise.

income range: $59,400.00 – 72,600.00
