TAPAC, The Auckland Performing Arts Centre is seeking a skilled part-time Funding Manager to join its small team located in Western Springs.

We're looking for someone who is intelligent, driven and persuasive with high ownership and great attention to detail. This busy function involves grants-writing and reporting and building TAPAC's fundraising activities.

We are pursuing someone who thrives under pressure and wants to be part of a vibrant team in a fun, creative environment. This is a great opportunity to make your mark, and create an impact.

This action-packed function includes:
   » Owning and managing the grants calendar
   » Identifying applicable grants opportunities to apply for
   » Writing engaging grant applications, including creating and collating supporting documentation as necessary
   » Ensuring comprehensive, accurate reporting is done in a timely manner
   » Building a programme of fundraising events
   » Identifying and managing opportunities for individual giving, including annual giving programmes

You will fit in at TAPAC if you have:
   » Solid practice in a grant-writing/fundraising function (preferably with existing relationships and practice with funders such as Foundation North, Lottery, The Lion Foundation, Auckland Council)
   » Strong interpersonal and relationship-building expertise
   » Passionate about people and the power of the performing arts to connect communities, build confidence and enrich peoples' lives
   » Commitment to working within the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and to working for equity that reflects the full diversity of the people of T?maki Makaurau
   » An exceptional eye for detail, ensuring that accurate and essential information is presented appropriately
   » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise
   » A high level of ownership and capability to work autonomously
   » Excellent time management expertise
   » capability to excel as part of a team, collaborative and self-driven
   » capability to connect with a broad range of people

You are a great writer, efficient, flexible, organised, adaptive, and quick to make decisions. You love the performing arts and want to be a prosperous player. But mostly you are results-driven, with a work ethic second to none and an capability to hit the ground running.

This is a part-time function of 20 hours a week.
