Fixed term - Contract for Services
The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) has set its ambition to be Aotearoa New Zealand's most loved entertainment brand.
We are pursuing an practiced orchestral operation professional to provide oversight of our production function. This is a Contract for Services arrangement for an initial engagement of one year with the option to extend. Hours are expected to be an average of 30 hours per week with an expectation of some core hours.
Services to be provided include oversight of the production team, planning, budgeting, and providing advice on logistical matters, as well as oversight of Health and Safety matters related to orchestral work.
To be considered for this contract, you must have practice of production and logistic planning ideally within a festival or touring performing arts organisation, practice of orchestral production management, and an excellent expertise of orchestral music and instruments.
