Te Hiringa Mahara (Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission), opened its doors on 9 February 2021 to bring leadership abilities and oversight to the transformation of our mental health and addiction system, and to contribute to better and equitable mental health and wellbeing results for all people in Aotearoa. The Principal Advisor Wellbeing Systems is responsible for developing the monitoring, insights and advice that drive action to improve the wellbeing of New Zealanders. They will lead the analysis, assessment and reporting on the wellbeing and mental health of people in Aotearoa. A focus will be on leading and operating: » the establishment of our wellbeing system monitoring » developing and maintaining the data that demonstrates what government agencies do to support peoples’ wellbeing » the roll-out of He Ara Oranga Wellbeing results Framework to organisations who are interested in monitoring their own contributions to the wellbeing of people in Aotearoa.
