ThePublic Sector Finance Graduate Programmeis an exciting development programme, led by the Department of Internal Affairs, for you to launch your finance future! You’ll spend three years developing your finance/accounting and leadership abilities expertise by gaining practice in rotations across different Government agencies, helping to provide trusted advice that makes a difference for all of New Zealand, from Parliament to individual Kiwis. We know what you study is often very different when you have to put Information technology into practice, so you’ll get to work across a range of finance/accounting functions to find the type of work that most interests you and be given the chance to step up to manage smaller projects of your own.
located in Wellington, we’ll provide you with unique development opportunities as you study towards becoming a fully qualified accountant. candidates must meet the academic requirements to enter their professional accounting program of choice e.g. CA ANZ Program or CPA Program and must be eligible to work in New Zealand for the full three years of the Programme (e.g. New Zealand/Australian citizen or permanent resident, or three-year post-study work visa).
