Machine OperatorLocation Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Temporary Salary to Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » » » We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our supportive and friendly team based at our Tyre Recycling Plant Facility in Wiri. You will be responsible for a range of activities which can include but not limited to liaising with customers and general public, general housekeeping, litter picking and operation of onsite fixed equipment. Although this role will start as a temporary position, candidates who prove themselves reliable will progress to a permanent position within the team. Key responsibilities will include: » Controlling the placement of scrap tyres being deposited by customers » Operating onsite plant and equipment » Directing traffic within the site and provide general information/direction to customers » Operating vehicles and mobile plant such as wheeled loader and tracked excavator To be successful in this role you should have: » Wheels, Tracks, Forklift, and Rollers (W,T,F,R) endorsements (preferred) » A valid NZ driver's licence Class 2 is preferred » Will have a high regard for Health & Safety » Will be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen » Will need to provide two references Contact: Kellie McNie - consultant kmcnie@adecco.co.nz Adecco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
