Job Opportunity: Senior Assurance Advisor:ACC_hainesJob description:Job Description» Would you like to be involved in an assurance capacity on a variety of high profile workstreams in a complex environment?» Are you able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and of varying technical capability? » Join one of the largest Internal Audit teams in NZ If you have strong auditing expertise and advisory capcapability in general business operations and programme delivery, you could be the Senior Assurance Advisor We are seeking for. The Internal Audit team’s services are designed to support ACC to achieve its strategic and operational objectives. Your day to day work will involve BAU activities from assessing ACC’s wider governance arrangements and service performance delivery to operational reviews of internal systems. You will also provide assurance over programme delivery and achievement of benefits. A key focus of your work will be identifying opportunities for improvement, with an emphasis on proposing solutions rather than just finding problems. What can you bring to the function? » You will have a significant tertiary qualification in a business discipline such as finance, legal, commerce, project management or equivalent » capability to communicate across different business groups and stakeholders, both technical and non-technical » Previous practice in internal or external audit, including evaluation of organisational governance, operational process improvement, programme delivery, risk management and internal control systems » expertise and practice in auditing techniques, IPPF standards and use of auditing tools » practice of analysing evidence from multiple sources using different techniques to reach sound findings, draw well-judged conclusions and make appropriate recommendations What will you get in return? » A great team – Our Internal Audit team is diverse and the strengths of every member of the team are drawn on.
