We're looking for someone who's motivated, loves a good spreadsheet and can have fun while still getting the job done. The Fundraising Manager reports directly to the General Manager of Massive Company. Fundraising activities: » Reference and deliver towards Massive's Revenue Generation Strategy (RGS) » Research, write and follow up on grant applications that relate to Massive's RGS » Use Funding HQ software to manage and develop the RGS (training and continuing mentoring will be provided) » Create a strong fundraising message profile, located on Massive's RGS and Kaupapa » Organise one-off, focused fundraising campaigns or events as necessary » Maintain records of funding information for future use by setting up and managing a fundraising directory » Manage relationships with funders and supporter to ensure they remain engaged with Massive » Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied » Assist the GM to research trusts, foundations and other opportunities that could potentially be applied to in order to meet budget earnings targets Management and financial tasks: » Work with General Manager to prepare annual earnings and expenditure fundraising budgets for approval » Record, monitor and report financial progress » Prepare reports as necessary » Recruit and manage volunteers for fundraising projects as necessary Marketing and PR tasks: » contact with Massive's marketing team to collaborate on any digital marketing collateral content » contact with any PR representatives re events, etc as necessary Essential expertise » A core knowledge and alignment with the Kaupapa, vision and mission of Massive Company » practice in grant writing » practice in knowledge and implementing fundraising / revenue generation strategies preferred » Exceptional people expertise with the capability to work within a team and independently when necessary » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise » Research expertise and attention to detail - sourcing information and statistics, researching trends, assessing costs » Knowledge and practice in using digital channels (social media, etc) a big advantage » practice in analysing data/results and being pro-active/re-active with information » Resilience and flexibility » Knowledge of the arts, not-for-profit and/or charitable trust sector » A great sense of humour will get you bonus points » Must be a NZ citizen, NZ permanent resident or hold a valid NZ work permit Please refer to Massive's Kaupapa on our websitehttps://www.massivecompany.co.nz/about-massive-company A summary of Massive's Revenue Generation Strategy can be provided upon request.
