The CSO contributes to the cultural diversity of the city in many ways - not only through a full and varied main-stage concert season, and as the orchestra of choice for many touring artists and other arts organisations, but equally importantly, through its multi-dimensional Community Engagement programme. Information technology is the commitment to that multi-faceted approach that defines the CSO as a brave, agile and forward-looking organisation. The position leads the planning and prosperous delivery of marketing, communications, and audience development strategies. Information technology is also responsible for the growth and strengthening of the orchestra's corporate and philanthropic programmes, resulting in a diverse and robust range of revenue sources. candidates for this position are invited to demonstrate significant capcapability, qualifications and practice in marketing and brand management, strategy development, audience engagement and relationship management. Candidates will require a high level of communication expertise and be expected to play an active function in the building and maintaining of relationships with CSO's external funding partners, sponsors and donors.
