Retail Trade Sales AssistantLocation DunedinOtago Job type Temporary Salary to Category Manufacturing/Operations > Sales » Consistent Full-time hours - 40+ hours per week » Immediate start » Competitive remuneration Due to a busy period on our clients site, we are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to assist with their increased work load in their trade store. This is a temporary position with the potential to go permanent for the right person. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be required to provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers as well assisting with various duties in the required for the operation of the trade store. A background and knowledge in paint will allow you to hit the ground running, however if you have a great work ethic and attitude training will be provided. A forklift license and experience operating a forklift would be advantageous as well as the ability to perform medium to heavy lifting as required. Hours for this position are approximately 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following - Basic computer skills - A high level of Health and Safety awareness - Strong communication skills - Good level of fitness as this position can be physically demanding - Customer service experience - Forklift license (preferred not essential) - Knowledge of paints (preferred not essential) In return, our client offers competitive remuneration, weekday work, training as required, immediate start To be considered for this position, please apply online and attach a current CV and any relevant employment related certificates.
