Senior/Principal Policy Analyst - Fixed TermJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Contract » » » »$92k - $120k »Fixed Term Contract until June 2022 »Immediate start available The function Our leading Public sector client are looking for a Senior/Principal Policy Analyst to help lead and review the current funding settings, identifying opportunities for doing things a bit differently – from the way the advisory boards make decisions on grants, to grant criteria, to creating short term opportunities in order to minimise accountcapability requirements under a high-trust approach. This is a great opportunity to showcase your Policy practice & will be a 12-month project where the prosperous applicant will work independently on this piece alongside our Service Delivery and Operational branch, and will have a dotted line to the Director for strategic direction. tasks • Present High quality policy analysis and advice. • Provide strategic direction on the content, approach and engagement with key stakeholders and less practiced policy analysts. • Effectively manage the project including - developing your timeline, key milestones, risk analysis, consultation processes, and identifying and managing all resourcing requirements. expertise & practice • Good knowledge of the machinery of Government at all levels. • capability to lead a project from end to end. • Senior/Principal Policy level practice. • Excellent communication and analytical expertise • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
