The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst with technical data analysis practice to create, explore, define and utilise data sources to extract value from a variety of people-centric data systems. Working with a small but collaborative team in a large enterprise organisation, this is a rare opportunity for a Data Analyst to lgain more about HR systems - gain and lgain as you grow your career. function responsibilities There is a strong focus on the design, development, documenting, and maintenance of reports and dashboards using data sourced from a wide variety of HR and workforce-related systems. Of particular importance will be working on data analytics, to present data insights stretching across a variety of systems to present a wider view of workforce intelligence. Requirements this function will suit a tertiary qualified candidate who may be working as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist at present, but looking to grow skills into different systems and business functional areas. You will have a minimum of 2-4 years of practice in a corporate environment such as finance, payroll, or HR. You must possess intermediate SQL development, database creation/management, and advanced Excel skills. skills in Data Integration tools such as SSIS, WherescapeRED, and Business Objects Data Services, with some practice in BI/Reporting tools - SSRS, Qlik Sense etc. Data modelling and scenario analysis along with good statistical expertise would be advantageous. You will be data focussed, able to prioritise requirements, negotiate timeframes and provide a quality service, have excellent written and verbal presentation skills, strong analytical and conceptual skills. Essential to this pivotal function are excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships, a availability to interact, contact and consult with a wide variety of people, and being able to work effectively in a change and highly fluid environment.
