Hi, Our farm is situated in Dunsandel,a short drive to Rolleston and Christchurch.We run 2150 cow property and are planning to rear 500-600 replacements this season. So, We are seeking for a Lead Calf Rearer for this Spring. Somebody with practice that can run the team. There will be 3 rearers over the peak calving period, 2 rearers on each day and 3 rearers on the busy days. We are happy to direct you through the job, but you will be responsible to be run the unit when we are busy in other areas on the farm. The position is available from 10th-15th July till the end of Sept. This is a drive in position. 40-50 hours per week, our roster is 6/2 but open for the rearing team to discuss and work that out between them. We offer $25-$30/hr depending of expertise and practice. Can supply PPE gear to you if required, but open to discuss what works for you. You must have a valid Work Visa if you aren't a kiwi. Contact Us by Fiona and let her know if you are interested.
