They are looking for an experienced Network Sercurity Specialist to joing for 6 months contract The Network & Edge competency provides Data Centre network services to the company and its clients. We manage and monitor network and security infrastructure assets as well as implementing solutions to improve, enhance and transform our customers' businesses. About the ROLE Deliverable: Network Security Administration » Manage / maintain Juniper firewalls and switches, including upgrades, firewall rule implementation / changes and validation » Install software, apply patches, manage file systems, and monitor performance of firewalls » Troubleshooting of firewall issues and in-depth analysis, working with the network and architect teams to get to root cause » Perform compliance tasks, as advised, adhering to customer and Kyndryl policy standards » Symantec AV and Messaging Gateway support, including installation / upgrade of software, applying policy updates, configuration, and monitoring Deliverable: Change & Problem Management » Change Activity to have minimal or negligible impact on production systems » Maintain & adhere to prevailing operational standards and procedures » Perform problem analysis and diagnosis, and resolve open problems in a timely manner Deliverable: Projects » Adhere strictly to the company & clients' project management guidelines & requirements » Provide effective, regular & reliable reporting back to project managers and/or DPE/SDM/SIL Report regularly on progress to Team Leader/Manager. Proactively identify and handle any risks that could for better or worse effect the operational output of the team Requirements: » At least 7 years' experience in Enterprise network security administration in a Data Centre setting. » Specialist in Juniper networking and security. » Comfortable working within complex commercial network and security environments. » Familiarity with CISCO and/or CISCO certifications will be beneficial. Experience working within geographically dispersed teams. » Juniper certifications: JNCIA-Junos or higher and JNCIA-SEC or higher; Bachelor of Computer Science (or other relevant technology) degree or an IT Diploma is highly desirable, but not essential.
