Test AnalystLocation Auckland CentralAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Engineering > IT & Telecommunications » Join a global market leader. » » Our client is multinational software corporation This position is responsible for helping improve the coverage of automated testing. This would include converting manual test cases into the existing automated framework. The current framework is based on Test complete. The focus of this position is automating the testing process. This would include coming up with new ideas to help automate testing as much as possible and also to support existing automation. Ongoing assignment with possibility to become permanent role RESPONSIBILITIES » Key job responsibility will be to help improve coverage of automated testing for our existing products. » Design, implement and maintain testing environments, as required. » Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts, as required. » Plan, develop, and execute system and regression level testing scenarios, when required. » Measure system performance on multi-user platforms, when required. INITIATIVE » Requires creativity, sound judgment, and foresight to identify potential problems within assigned application software systems. » Attention-to-detail to ensure adequate testing at all limits of system specifications. » Anticipate potential software problems by creating robust test scenarios that ensure comprehensive testing, when possible. » Work in a Project Team environment (e.g. developers, technical writer, account engineers, support engineers, marketing staff) to satisfy system requirements. » Remain current on changes and new developments and techniques that will effect and/or improve application systems. QUALIFICATIONS » Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant experience. » At least 1 year experience with TestComplete » Sufficient knowledge/experience working with Microsoft operating systems is a must. » Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium » Ability to write scripts that parse and generate XML. » Good command of the English language. Preferred » Experience or exposure to load balancing and performance testing. » Graphics, 3D or CAD experience/background APPLY NOW!!
