About this function We have a great opportunity for practiced early childhood professional to join our Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast ECE team. Ministry of Education early childhood staff work with our ECE sector to increase participation and improve quality results for children. As part of our dynamic team you will administer ECE regulations, including the issuing of licenses and certificates, monitoring of compliance, responding to complaints and providing advice and support to the ECE sector as well as have opportunity to manage portfolios across the region. You will need excellent communication and relationship management expertise, be solutions focused, and have the capability to work effectively within a team. About you We are seeking for a team member who has the drive and practice to coordinate work aimed at ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate in high quality early childhood education. You will need a thorough knowledge of early childhood education and the capability to respond rapidly to complex situations. candidates will need to demonstrate the capability to lead and influence the sector, and work within communities to support the focus on enhancing educational results for children. An knowledge of Te Ao Maori and/or Pacific cultures would be advantageous. Are you ready to make a difference?
