Offer: Case Managers – Kamo, Northland:Ministry of Social DevelopmentJob description:Job DescriptionPermanent, Full Time (37.55 hours per week)Case Managers play a vital function in our communities As a Case Manager, every day is busy and demanding but very compensateing as your work will have a significant impact on people’s lives. As part of one of our Kamo team you will work alongside clients to provide support to help improve their lives. You'll help clients access a wide variety of tailored support. This face-to-face Case Management position will see you having in-depth discussions with clients to uncover opportunities for employment and financial independence. You'll partner with clients to help them navigate through changing labour markets and opportunities, with the goal of securing sustainable employment. You'll provide a range of support including covering housing instcapability through early intervention to secure tenancy, employment, vocational and training pathways that are aligned to individual needs. You will also work on the housing and earnings support queue and ensure that clients are supported financially and receiving their full and correct financial entitlement. About you You're someone who is focused on achievement and can practically help others to access job opportunities, training and development, education programmes and work practice because they understand the labour market, employment and career advisory. You'll bring a high level of personal integrity, initiative and relationship management expertise to the function. You'll be comfortable navigating your way around computer systems and enjoy finding solutions to problems. You are curious and like to uncover details, enjoy analysing an issue and using good judgement to deal with a problem. If you are focused on achievement and can practically help others to set goals and discover their potential, you will enjoy the challenges and teamwork with our team. Most importantly, you treat people with care and show empathy for those in vulnerable positions. The income for this function starts at $62,660 to $67,882 per annum (in line with expertise, practice and other factors).
