Job Description

Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
The System and Agency Performance Group (SAPG) provides critical support to Te Kawa Mataaho in its interactions with public service chief executives and their agencies. SAPG leads the management of chief executive appointments, remuneration, performance management, development and succession, and provides guidance on fees and appointments for Crown bodies.
The function will manage the diaries of 5-6 busy executives and ensure that they are appropriately prepared for and supported in their day to day activities. this function is responsible for a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, coordination and research tasks.
this function requires a high degree of independence, discretion, judgement, initiative and self-discipline, working effectively with other Executive adjuncts, and senior leaders.
To be prosperous in this function you will:
   » Apply good judgement and proactively support the SAPG leadership abilities team
   » Maintain strong positive relationships both internally and externally
   » Proactively develop and improve processes and procedures
   » Support projects, meetings and events (agenda/papers/minute taking/recording action points etc.)
   » Be a champion for good Information Management practices

This position usually pays between $57,100 to $64,600 depending on expertise and practice.
