The Organisation
This client is heavily involved in a major ERP implementation and requires a Test Lead for the duration of the programme of work. Scenario: Your primary function will be to overview and manage all the testing and connected activities relating to this broad programme of work and lead the development and implementation of testing and QA approaches, processes, procedures and controls, plus providing further leadership abilities and support for those involved in the testing process. Job responsibilities: Amongst normal testing leadership abilities tasks, you'll also undertake the following: » Developing and delivering the test strategy and framework. » Planning the resource requirements for each phase of the project via a SoW. » Establishing the agreed testing tools and framework. » Training and coordination of all staff involved in the testing process. » Creating test scripts and cases and ensuring they support other deliverables such as interfaces, data migration validation, extensions and reports » All other aspects expected including managing the triage, investigation, logging, resolution and re-testing of defects. Personal and Technical Criteria: As well as your technical expertise, you'll be a strong communicator in all forms, be a collaborator, flexible yet agile in your approach. You'll be tertiary qualified in the appropriate discipline and have ISTQB Foundation, and also have the following: » Likely 5 years' or more practice in a Test leadership abilities function, or as a Senior Test Analyst undertaking leadership abilities responsibilities, with demonstrated practice managing large and complex testing projects » Be detail oriented with strong decision-making expertise, as well as capability to communicate clearly and professionally. » Be a critical thinker and have a philosophy of continuous improvement. » Demonstrate proven success at building internal and external relationships.
