About us Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, manages the Crown’s second largest property portfolio of around 2,100 schools with a book value of $19.6 billion, the largest payroll in the country, and transportation of over 100,000 students to and from school each day. About the function You will provide support to the Group Manager – Infrastructure Procurement by effectively managing their schedule and performing a wide variety of administrative, planning, and organising tasks. You will also coordinate group wide activities and will perform all tasks with confidentiality, initiative, tact, and independent judgment. About you Ideally you will have proven administration practice within the public sector and will also offer the following: » practice in managing relationships and consultation with an assortment of internal and external stakeholders » Proactivity and be able to apply good judgement » Creativity and able to assist in developing a good team culture, positively contributing to team meetings and celebrations » Some knowledge/practice in working within a procurement team would also be of benefit This opportunity will provide the right candidate with interesting and challenging work and the capability to develop and grow their career.
