This is an entry-level position that would suit a recent graduate, or someone looking to shift careers into a policy function. this function is in one of the Ministry’s tertiary education policy teams, part of Te Puna Kaupapahere – Policy. We lead interesting and challenging work programmes aimed at strengthening tertiary education at a systems level to ensure that Information technology is inclusive, responsive, delivers equitable results, and honours Te Tiriti. The Ministry’s function in tertiary education policy offers exciting opportunities for those looking to begin their policy career. Our work sits across social and economic policy, and we work closely with other government agencies including TEC, NZQA, MBIE, and others. We’re proud of the culture in our policy teams. We appreciate and support each other, and develop strong relationships that underpin our capability to deliver good work. What are we looking for?
