Service Delivery and Operations Branch, H?pai Hapori - Community Operations is the face of DIA. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated Kaitohutohu Hapori - Community Advisor to join our high performing Invercargill/W?ihopai team. This is a function designed to engage with Hap?, Iwi and Pacific peoples to provide information, advice and connect them with the resources they need to thrive. Some travel is involved, and a driver’s licence is essential. Key to your success will be a proven capability to work alongside these communities to enable them to achieve their own aspirations. You will also have strong analysis capcapability and your customer service ethic will underpin all that you do. You will have a professional attitude and be able to evidence: » Strong communication expertise – written and oral. » Proven expertise, knowledge and practice in providing advice that builds and empowers the communities of Marae, Hap?, Iwi and Pacific peoples. » Excellent relationship management and collaboration expertise. Data analysis and analytical expertise including the capability to interpret financial information. » An knowledge of grant management. » practice in assessing organisation performance and providing advice to community and voluntary organisations. » The capability to plan, organise and manage work effectively to meet multiple deadlines. » Being flexible and adaptive in a dynamic and changing community development environment.
