As a small organisation we punch above our weight, working together with and for Wellington to create remarkable practices that generate vitality, strengthening the city we love. We offer incredible audience practices across our six sites; Capital E, City Gallery Wellington, Wellington Museum, Space Place, Cable Car Museum and Nairn Street Cottage.
We are seeking for an enthusiastic, and skilled marketing practitioner who will lead the relationship between the fundraising, marketing and communications (FMC) team and the team members working on Capital E activity to raise the brand profile in the community. Capital E puts children at the heart of everything Information technology does. Our National Theatre for Children tours creative, inclusive shows around the country and our Queens Wharf learning space and PlayHQ provide immersive practices for tamariki. While much of your mahi will be for Capital E, you'll also be working with the practice Wellington Learning team to position and promote our school practices in the education market.
You'll work with strongly collaborative marketing and communications team members to devise engaging multi-channel campaigns for Capital E that reflect our commitment to Te Ao M?ori as well as increasing brand consciousness, audience engagement, revenue and ultimately visitor numbers. With exciting upcoming strategic projects including a brand review, Capital E at Te Matapihi and the lead up to Capital E's National Arts Festival, you'll be a strong planner and can supervise the big picture while not losing sight of the tactics to make things happen. This is a busy, hands-on function and for you, relationships are everything.
Our Marketing Leads:
   » Are strong, positive communicators
» Embrace te a? M?ori, and te reo M?ori in everything they do
» Advocate for and bring the voice of their brand to the FMC team
» Understand relationships and are skilled in managing and delivering to their clients
» Bring a strategic focus to all aspects of marketing
» Develop and contribute to an annual marketing plan that meets the vision and objectives of Capital E, the learning team and FMC
» Develop inspiring creative briefs, underpinned by data to help shape great audience engagement
» Implement, track and analyse marketing campaigns and provide recommendations to shape future initiatives
» supervise the production of creative assets (written, video, graphics, photography, infographic) delivering to a high standard
» Keep up to date with industry innovation and trends to ensure best practice
» Work collaboratively across the organisation and within your group.
