We are currently searching for two people to job-share and cover mornings at our award-winning hostel. You would need to be available for 3-4 hours between 9am and 12 or 1pm (depending on occupancy). Between 21 and 28 hours are available over 7 days for the two people. There will be plenty of time to see Christchurch or get additional paid work. Accommodation and a bike can either be provided in exchange for 12 hours work or alternatively you can live offsite and work would be fully paid. We are seeking for friendly and reliable team people who are not afraid of fitting some cleaning in alongside the reception work. You would be in charge of recruiting cleaners and organizing our small team of other receptionists and cleaners. We are a technology-led hostel with digital keys and automated self-check-in. Reception tasks include helping guests enjoy their Christchurch escape, encouraging them to stay longer, charging credit cards, checking that guests are appropriate for our hostel It would help if you are also a Instagram, Facebook, Social Media and photo guru This is a permanent position and a great chance to work in tourism from a long-term award winning hostel.
