The Opportunity
This newly created permanent customer-facing leadership abilities function reports directly to the Chief Information agent within the Technology and Operations function. This key function will be the "voice" of the customer into the organisation and the "voice" of the organisations strategy with its key strategic customers and partnering relationships. Information technology will require establishing and developing strong relationships with senior external customer stakeholders at a significant national level.
The function encompasses key functions including supporting strategic thought leadership abilities in digital, technology, and innovation, underpinned by the development of a superior customer practice strategy and strategic account management approach. connected with these key functions, will be the building an internal customer practice design and delivery function, service level agreements, and performance standards. Leading a small team of two, they will assist with the development of the customer practice design, account, relationship, and engagement management strategies.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an practiced high-performance Business Development Manager with in-depth skills in developing the ?customer practice' design, strategy implementation, functional delivery, team leadership abilities, stakeholder engagement, and the capability to ?champion' the drive for improvement in ensuring they deliver ?fit for purpose digital and technology services' that meet the needs of their complex national customers.
About You
You will be a high-energy, passionate business development, customer, and technology thought leader, with strong commercial acumen, gained from a minimum of 5-8 years practice in technology, or digital or consulting environment in a customer-facing function, with proven capability to deliver customer-centric solutions, and proven in new business development within complex industries.
You will bring the capability to lead through strong, clear, and highly developed communications, people management, relationship development, excellent negotiation skills, and highly developed stakeholder engagement skills which are crucial to the success of this function, as is an open approachable, collaborative, and influential style.
