The Organisation This centre is a joint venture between a group of established orthopaedic surgeons, in partnership with Southern Cross Healthcare Limited, located in a new a state-of-the-art day stay hospital in Takapuna on Auckland’s North Shore. It is one of a number of private surgical hospitals within Southern Cross Healthcare’s wider national network. The Position You will provide safe, appropriate, quality nursing care which is cost effective, meets the needs of the patient and the objectives of the business and complies with legislation. You will build therapeutic relationships with patients that are appropriate and support quality results, and communicate effectively with patients and their families. You - Minimum 2 years’ practice in PACU or HDU/ICU. - Sound level of clinical skills. - capability to work well within a multidisciplinary team. - Excellent problem solving skills. - Intermediate level expertise of computer systems. - Registered Nurse in NZ with current APC. - NZRC CORE advanced. The Package An excellent income is available, working Monday to Friday starting with close proximity to public transport.
