As Te Tumu Whakarae, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership abilities in a dynamic operating environment that offers both challenges and opportunities. You'll continue to foster an engaged and empowered culture amongst the organisation's 40+ staff located in Aotearoa and across the Pacific. Key priorities include ensuring VSA embraces and reflects a strong Aotearoa identity incorporating Te Tiriti o Waitangi at its heart, diversifying the organisation's volunteer and funding base, and taking a visionary approach to continuing the transformation of VSA's operating model in order to meet the emerging dynamics and changing needs of the world. VSA has a strong multicultural commitment to its work and a kaupapa that values diversity and inclusion. As such, a strong focus on te Ao M?ori and Pasifika is vital, as well as an knowledge of and commitment to the values of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
