This close-knit team requires a new Financial Accountant to manage a small team, as well as handle all reporting and budgeting tasks for their arm of the business.The tasks of this function will include, but not be limited to: » Provide finance & payroll support services » Budgets and forecasting » Future recruitment into the finance team » Month end tasks » Fixed assets, general ledger, statutory reporting, IRD reporting » Year end reporting and liaising with external auditors » Support and guide junior staff » Continuous improvement Reporting » Statutory reporting » Monthly reporting (P&L analysis) » Quarterly reporting » Cash flow reporting You will also be required to: » Annually prepare the budget for the NZ business. » On a quarterly basis, or as and when required, assist in preparing a forecast. Strong stakeholder management expertise are required, and you most frequent contacts will be: » Australian & New Zealand Finance team » Management Team » Operational Staff » Corporate team To be prosperous in this function, you'll need to display the following attributes: » capability to manage up and down » Can work at both a high conceptual level and able to get into details as and when required » Be able to communicate at various levels, and handle issues in a clear and concise manner » Ideally has previously worked as a Financial Accountant in a medium to large business.
