They employ 1000+ people in all our national ports with the head office in Tauranga. Currently our port is working over-time to keep up with the supply chain of New Zealand’s impor/export business. This position is temporary while they recruit to find the right permanent person – if you’re interested in the function long-term you will be considered – Information technology is essential we find the right person for this function. The function Your function will include but will not be limited to: » Providing day to day high quality financial support to the Financial Controller and wider team. » Day to day cash flow management and end of month processes » Reporting, journals, balance sheet reconciliations » Maintenance of the fixed asset registers » earnings tax, payments, GST, AIL and FBT returns » Preparing P&L budgets and quarterly forecasting » CAPEX forecasting and reporting for the board expertise & practice We’d like an practiced Financial Accountant who has a commercial sector background and a continuous improvement mindset.
