Offer: Library and Research Coordinator:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School Closes 28 Jan 2022 Posted on 20 Jan 2022 Region Wellington Work type Part time employment Work classification Research, Education & Development ShareA rare and exciting part time opportunity (20 Hours a week) for a suitably qualified Library professional to lead the development of the Nola Millar Library as a resource and play a pivotal part in the development of the Toi Whakaari's developing research programme.This newly created function will supervise the day to day running of The Nola Millar Library at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School. The library is New Zealand's specialist performing arts library and serves Toi Whakaari and the New Zealand School of Dance as well as a small base of subscribers. Reporting to the Academic Leads, this function will coordinate the school's developing research programme, support student learning results, as well as managing relationships with the Performing Arts community to ensure that information services meet expectations and objectives. this function will be responsible for the operations and strategic direction of Toi Whakaari's Nola Millar Library through the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of the information services which support the teaching, learning and research activities of Toi Whakaari staff and students. Key to this function will be the strengthening of a robust research culture within Toi Whakaari that fosters Kaupapa M?ori, Practice-located and Theoretical Research frameworks.
