We serve European inspired dishes with the freshest New Zealand Ingredients. We are open Wednesday to Sunday with your days off falling on Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday. During the peak of summer we open for 7 days. Kawau Bay Kitchen is an intimate busy restaurant owner operated on Orewa Main Street. We focus on fresh ingredients and giving the customer a great food and service practice every time, whether its brunch, lunch or dinner. Orewa is located just 25 minutes North of the City and is a busy beach side destination with bustling suburbs all around. practice in similar style restaurants is advantageous, the candidate for this function will have full responsibility for the kitchen and would suit a young ambitious chef looking to take the reigns of a kitchen possibly for the first time or someone looking to move to the beautiful Hibiscus Coast out of the city rat race. Currently the opening hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11.30 – 9pm, Saturday 9.30 – 9pm and Sunday 9.30 – 3pm. The function is a mix of day and night time work with around 40 – 45 hours a week. To be prosperous in this function you will be someone that has sound expertise of food costs, wage costs, FCP, staff training, and quality control. capability to maintain high and consistent standards is essential and a must. Our menu is constantly changing with the seasons so creativity is essential. capability to keep your cool under pressure is a must and with Information technology been an intimate restaurant the capability to work well alone but also with a small team must be proven from previous functions.
