NHNZ Worldwide is an international television production company producing for clients all over the world. From its roots as one of the world's leading natural history producers, and now under new ownership, NHNZ Worldwide has expanded into specialist factual programming and recently into adventure, reality competition and lifestyle.

THE function
The Senior Production Manager will facilitate and jointly lead the production team to produce programs to specification, ensuring the production runs smoothly, within the set time frame and budget, from pre-production through to delivery, and will require Somebody with practice in international productions, travel logistics, visas, permits and booking crews around the world.

KEY TASKS
   » Contributing to the continuous improvement aspirations of the Company
   » Direct supervision and training of Production Co-ordinators
   » Joint supervision of Researchers and Associate Producers
   » Working with Producer/Executive Producer to ensure the production stays on schedule and within budget
   » Liaising and informing the Supervising PM, CFO and Executive Producer of how the production budget is tracking
   » Certifying of invoices, payment of service contractors and talent
   » Notifying variances through the preparation of monthly cost reports and taking required steps to maintain schedule and contain costs
   » Leading pre-production, pre-shoot, meetings and debriefs
   » Contributing to identifying production team staff
   » Ensuring contractors are appropriately contracted
   » Preparing and maintaining efficient shoot schedules, anticipating and overcoming any obstacles that occur
   » Ensuring all permits, restrictions, technical and safety issues are addressed
   » Liaising with the Post-Production manager to arrange post operational and deliverable requirements and book post and field facilities
   » Liaising with external contacts, crew and NHNZWW technicians to organise special field requirements
   » Working with post-production manager on deliverables information for team
   » Co-ordinating production publicity deliverables and arrange with crews for stills to be shot in conformity with client requirements.
   » Ensuring Company policies/guidelines are followed
   » superviseing library, location and logistic research to ensure that effective and efficient planning is applied to production schedule
   » Ensuring production team are aware of the legal and technical deliverables
   » Setting production schedules in liaison with Producer/Director and ensuring that the Post-Production Manager is fully informed of schedule requirements and changes
   » Organising and managing all shoot requirements, and/or supervising Production co-ordinators to do so.
   » Ensuring compliance on all co-producer deliverable requirements when crew is shooting.
   » Ensuring that future media needs are able to be accommodated
   » In collaboration with the Post-Production manager, managing programs through the post-production process as efficiently as possible, utilising facilities and staff to their maximum potential
   » Ensuring release forms and all co-producer/production deliverable requirements are accurate and filed (including ancillary requirements such as stills/publicity)
   » Assisting Post-Production manager with the dispatch of program masters and all deliverables to co-production clients
