Te Whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity
This is a senior function that sits within the CEO office, located at K?k?riki House in Hamilton. You will report to and work closely with Wise Group chief executive, Shelley Campbell.
The key purpose of this function is reputation and relationship management for the Wise Group, alongside supporting excellent internal communications and culture group-wide.
Your work will encompass brand development and management, ownership of the group-wide communications strategy (internal and external), stakeholder engagement, reputation and risk management, working with the media, and storytelling that contributes to the narratives around mental health and wellbeing in Aotearoa New Zealand.
You will be responsible for facilitating and supporting the network of communications managers and advisors located in Wise Group entities. The design and digital lead is a direct report to this function.
M?u: About you
There are some essential and preferred expertise you’ll need including:
   » a tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline, along with 3+ years' practice in a senior communications function
   » sound knowledge of marketing/communication principles and channels, including brand management, media relations, advertising, digital marketing and internal communications
   » the capability to make connections, see opportunities and turn complexity into clarity
   » a high level of digital savvy, including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a strong knowledge of digital communications strategies and tools
   » practice engaging with M?ori, Pasifika, young people, people with disabilities, and/or people who use substances, is an advantage, as is a sound knowledge of the health sector in Aotearoa New Zealand.
