The function You will be working in the Advisory/Media space moving between different Ministerial offices dependant on workload. You will be responsible for ensuring that all policy and political advice, as well as all media communications from the Minister’s office are consistent with the agreed priorities and messages of the Government. You will be responsible for taking minutes, managing OIA requests, correspondence on behalf of minister, provide the minister with advice and also plan and develop communication strategies. Core expertise You will be someone who thrives under pressure and can establish strong relationships as you’ll be moving between teams. You will hold a current NZ driver’s license and have practice within the advisory/communications or media sector. You’ll also have practice working within the public sector and a massive advantage would be working with Ministerial/OIA’s.
