About the function Develop confident young New Zealanders who care for the health and wellbeing of themselves and their communities. This is a great permanent part time function. There's great flexibility to plan and schedule your own working week (16 hours). Programme delivery will need be within school opening hours, however, any planning, preparation and admin can be done at a time to suit you. Our community education team provides learning practices for primary and intermediate school-aged children to empower them for life. Community Educators visit schools to offer young people life expertise, preparing them for the future. Join our team and deliver our St John in Schools programme in Hawkes Bay and the surrounding area. With the curriculum already designed, you will be responsible for providing a vibrant, high-energy programme that captures the attention and interest of our tamariki and inspires them to take responsibility for their health and wellbeing and the wellbeing of others.
