Ng? k?rero m? te t?ranga – About the function In this function you will provide research relating to grants, including assisting with planning, bidding for and completing multiple research projects. In addition, you will deliver innovative research, supporting an continuing research programme. You will also contribute to the development of research publications and act as a team leader for research projects within your area of skills. this function engages with communities mandated by the Covid-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 and you will therefore be required to provide proof of vaccination for this function. To be prosperous, Information technology is essential to have a PhD and you will be a recognised scholar in the field of educational research, have practice in research management positions, including the preparation and management of research proposals and academic writing. You will have practice in designing quantitative and qualitative research, and in undertaking interview and observation techniques. In addition, you must have deep knowledges of The New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) and historical knowledges of schooling in New Zealand, including the function and influence of the Treaty of Waitangi, school policies, resources, and challenges as they relate to system improvement for M?ori.
