This is a temporary opportunity with the potential for growth and learning development in a specialised field. To be prosperous in this function, you will need to be: » Detail orientated » Methodical » Reliable » Prepared to work outdoors picking up onion bulbs, clipping bulbs, planting bulbs, planting seeds to help with recording the data (this will be in all weather conditions) » Have a passion for agriculture or horticulture or gardening » If you have a qualification in either agriculture, horticulture, agronomy, plant breeding or a related field of study, this would be an advantage » practiced with using Microsoft Office applications » Strong verbal and written communication expertise for data collection Your day to day tasks include, but not limited to: » Seed threshing and processing » Breeding support and recording of data » Operations support i.e. weed control, irrigation and outdoor maintenance » Supervise packaging, cleaning and seed inventory » Administration and procurement support About the function: » Full time– possibly extra hours during busy periods » Great Pukekohe location » broad training will be provided If you are available to start immediately and meet the above requirements, as well as possess all significant New Zealand working rights, please submit your application by following the “apply now” prompts.
