Come and join our team in stunning Akaroa Akaroa backpackers is the only hostel in Akaroa and we are getting ready for the busy summer season. The hostel is located in the center of Akaroa and part of a busy Pub. We are seeking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our hostel team. Your tasks will include: » Changing beds and general housekeeping » Cleaning bathrooms, showers, kitchen & common areas » Taking care of the laundry » Helping in the garden With the government rules this is a paid position, doing up to 9 hours per week, ($21.20 + 8% holiday pay) so you must have a legal right to work in New Zealand and have an IRD number. This is a live in position. Additional hours can be paid where required. Other paid positions are available in Akaroa, for the right candidate. As part of our team, you will get a 50% discount at the pub, free kayak, bike and fishing pol hire. You will be living in a staff dorm in our staff house next to the hostel.
