About the function
Due to broad growth, the client is seeking an practiced Senior Payroll agent to join their energetic, high performing team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will have a broad range of key tasks including:
tasks
   » Dealing with employee queries regarding pay and responding to them in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.
   » Maintaining employee details, pay records and income information including processing new employees and terminations.
   » Provide skills across payroll system changes, configuration and decision making.
   » Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls nationwide
   » Ensuring ad-hoc transactions have appropriate independent support
   » Assist with contract generation, filing, basic data analysis, contractor management
Skills & practice
   » Minimum 3-5 years’ practice processing end to end payroll for a medium to large sized company
   » Strong communication skills and excellent phone manner
   » practice with handling large volumes of numerical data
   » Demonstrated expertise & administering in the use of the New Zealand Holidays Act 2003
   » Advanced Excel skills is a must
