Offer: Social Media Moderator:MentalhealthJob description:Job DescriptionAre you a digital native looking for a part-time function with meaning? The Mental Health Foundation is seeking two social media moderators to help us look after our social media platforms in the evenings and weekends.Our social media followers are engaged and active, and we want to make sure they are heard and engaged with after-hours.We'relooking for two people to work in shiftseither in theweekdayevenings or over the weekendsto keep our online communities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn safe, supportive, friendly and engaging spaces after hours. In this function,you'llbe moderating our comments, replying to our supporters, hiding or deleting things that aren't acceptable and posting content from our schedule.You'llget to know our mahi, lgain how we talk, answer questions about our programmes and projects and provide feedback about our policy and advocacy positions. Wedon'texpector wantyou to provide counselling services - we're not a service provider - but you will be hearing from people all around Aotearoa with all kinds of mental health practices, and sometimes their stories can be hard to hear, so we do ask you to consider that before applying. Most often, the people who talk to us are inspiring, motivating, awesome individuals who believe in our work and want to share why Information technology matters to them. If you: » Are reliably availableeitherMonday-Thursday from 5:30pm-10pm OR Friday 5pm-10pm AND weekends (timesnegotiable) –please note, we don't expect you to be working constantly during these hours, youcanexpect tobe moderating MHF channels forup to 15 minutesat a timewithin these hours. » Can attend oneteammeeting per month during business hours over Zoom » Are comfortable managing social media, with practice with Facebook Business Manager and Instagram Pages » Have a strong sense of empathy » Have good written communication expertise » Can work in the houseand have a strong Internet access If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
