On behalf of our client, a tier 1 contractor, we are seeking several Class 2 Drivers / Operators to assist their busy team. » Do you have your WTR endorsement and a Class 2 or 4 license? » Are you an experienced multi-talented heavy machine operator able to operate loaders, rollers & excavators? » Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment working as part of a great team? » Do you have a "can-do" attitude and a commitment to quality? » Do you want to work for one of New Zealand's largest Civil Construction companies? If you have answered YES to the above questions, we have the role for you. About the role: You will be working with a crew on various civil projects around the Waikato region for a tier 1 multinational company. Projects range from storm water drainage to infrastructure projects and all things in between. Health & Safety is a key priority for us, and you will need a good knowledge, understanding and proven application of Health & Safety practices. Although machine operating and driving is a focus, we also work as a team and from time to time you'll be required to be on the ground to help get the job done. About you: » Minimum class 2 licence » WTR endorsement » Not afraid to get your hands dirty » Able to provide a minimum of two work related referees » Can work well in a team, and have the initiative to work independently » Take responsibility for your own work. » Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit » Be reliable and hard working with a positive 'can do' attitude » A want to succeed Although this is a temporary role, future opportunities are available for someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm.
