The Partners in Care programme provides leadership abilities and direction to the Commission’s consumer engagement-related strategies and activities. The programme ensures the Commission has established networks and processes to understand how the system is working for consumers. this function will provide data coordination support to the Partners in Care programme, reporting to the adjunct director. This will include providing data coordination support with both qualitative and quantitative data sets, particularly the consumer engagement quality and safety marker and the coordination of patient reported outcome measure (PROM) data as well as the application of patient reported practice measure data (PREM) The ideal candidate will be passionate about the complexities of measuring quality in health care and have strong analytical expertise and a comfort in working with qualitative and quantitative data sets. An knowledge of what is important to consumer and wh?nau when engaging with health services will be key in this function. The Health Quality & Safety Commission is a stand-alone Crown entity with a board responsible to the Minister of Health. The Commission is responsible for assisting providers across the whole health and discapability sector, both private and public, to improve service safety and quality and therefore results for all those who use these services in New Zealand.
