Our client is an innovative and prosperous, NZX-listed company with a growing international footprint.
An opportunity has become available for a legally-trained professional to assist with a project for a period of 3 months. This project will involve the establishment of a number of subsidiary companies across various international locations, such as India, Poland, Spain, Israel, etc. Working under the direction of the General Counsel, this function will act as a liaison between international audit firms, external vendors, as well as key internal stakeholders.
Candidates for this position will ideally come from a legal background, potentially working as a Legal Executive or Paralegal, or be a trained lawyer who has followed a different direction. You'll require some insight into the legal requirements for setting up new companies and have the capability to communicate effectively with senior legal professionals.
There is good potential for flexibility in the function, scope to work in the house for part of the week, or on a part-time basis.
