About the function
This company is totally committed to health and safety - a commitment reflected in the importance attached to this function. Consequently We are pursuing Somebody with a minimum of three years practice in a Health & Safety Advisor function along with a significant tertiary qualification and a solid grounding in the legislative environment. Report to, and support, the National Health, Safety and Compliance Manager. You will need to be able to adhere to all H&S policies and procedures using your broad expertise and company solutions focused approach both internally and externally.
tasks include;
   »  Advise and support on all H&S processes to meet legislative requirements
   »  Incident Investigation and Reporting
   »  everyday tool box meetings
   »  Administritive support to the National Health, Safety and Compliance Manager
   »  Analysis and reporting of data and trends both internal and external
   »  Developing and implementing company wide reporting system
   »  Working under pressure with deadlines
   »  Educating and training staff
   »  Manage and report company wide performance
Forging and maintaining relationships will be essential in this function, as will your leadership abilities and organisational expertise. The capability to investigate and problem solve, as well as bring energy and a positive attitude to this function is critical.
