We deliver the broadcast of all House proceedings via Parliament TV and Radio New Zealand and provide support in the Debating Chamber and lobbies to The Speaker, Presiding agents, the Clerk at the Table and all Members of Parliament. M? te t?nga –About the function As the Business Continuity Advisor, you work alongside the Office and the Service to ensure that they proactively plan for and are able to effectively respond to incidents and business disruptions that impact the capability to deliver critical services. Your practice in business continuity systems and developing operational processes are key to developing and maintaining systems, documentation, and records in conformity with the Office and the Service policies and best practice Ng? haepapa –Responsibilities will include the following: » Advise and support the Office and the Service on business continuity best practice and support systems » identifying and implementing initiatives to improve the resilience and increase the capacity of the businesses » Develop and maintain business continuity management systems, documentation, and records in conformity with the Office and the Service policies and best practice » Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure all are highly satisfied with and have confidence in the business continuity services » Manage and contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance business continuity practice T? kete –What you will bring to the function will include the following: » A significant qualification/certification in Business Continuity Management or equivalent demonstrated practical practice is essential » Previous practice in providing business continuity systems and advice to a business (two to three years) » Excellent relationship management expertise across a range of stakeholders » A good knowledge (or the capability to quickly develop a good knowledge) of parliamentary processes Why work for Office of the Clerk? » We actively represent our values of Courage, Integrity, Manaakitanga, Impartiality and Kaitiakitanga » We offer a thorough induction, on-going development and excellent working conditions » We offer a range of benefits including study assistance, five weeks annual leave and flexible working arrangements The appointing income range for this function is $70,679.00 to $78,463.00 per annum.
