We have recently been refreshed and we are hitting the ground running! Our fruit is mainly seen in Countdown stores year-round however we also export all over the world. We are seeking for employees who are ready to help us take our company to the next level. Specifically we are on the hunt for Line Operators/Trainee Line Operators to join our passionate and prosperous team. The Line Operator's purpose is to operate Compac machinery including a defect sorter. Training is provided for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has got practice in an apple packhouse and who is looking to progress their career in machine operation. At Sunfruit we employ staff who focus on quality have a passion for fruit work collaboratively with their team focus on sustainable practices and focus on their own individual and company progression and growth. Additionally for the specific function of Line Operator the ideal candidate will have: - practice in the horticulture industry specifically with apples and stonefruit - Eagerness to lgain more about new ways of packing. - Intermediate Computer competency - Mechanical aptitude - Flexible to work day and evening shifts as required - capability to work flexible hours to suit the seasonal fluctuations.
