We’re looking for an practiced and highly motivated Executive adjunct to support our Group Manager in our Learning Support Delivery Business Unit.

About our group and team
Learning Support is a critical part of the Ministry. We provide support to children and young people with additional learning needs so that they can achieve their full potential through their early learning and schooling education.
About this function
You will provide proactive, highly responsive, and confidential executive support to the Group Manager. Your positive can-do attitude and initiative will ensure conflicting demands are managed with sensitivity and sound judgement however it’s your exceptional people expertise that will ensure positive workplace culture and relationships are maintained.
You will enjoy juggling a busy manager’s schedule and tracking the large amou nt of electronic correspondence, that goes with this.
About you
You will also offer as follows:
   » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise
   » Attention to detail and excellent time management and organisational expertise
   » The capability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse group of contacts
   » The capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga
